What a difference a year can make!

Here is a picture of Bailey in his pool last summer and one from just the other day. His head is about the same size (thank God) but the rest of him has grown so much!

By the way, the picture looks all blurry because Bailey got a hold of the camera with his grubby little mits and figured out the the shutter "protector" will open by force. Ugh.

It's a...

...nother boy! We might name him Clyde...or Drexler...we haven't decided yet.

Upgrade from Teddy Bear?

According to Disney an upgrade from a Teddy Bear would be Mickey Mouse or some other creation of theirs.

Bailey of course has found out it is fun to play with this "life size" Mickey Mouse. One of his favorite things to do is put Mickey on the ground and pummel him with his body. He laughs and laughs while he "plays" with Mickey.

Really this entire post is to put up an adorable photo of our Munchkin, their will likely be a second post today as well... Wait patiently for it! :-) Were super excited for our news later today!

Best Friends...

...are what make the world a great place. I really like this one of mine in particular...and I don't even hate her for looking better in a bikini six-months pregnant than I ever have or will. Love you, EJoy!

Evangelism at its finest...

Today I saw a church sign that said "Jesus is the boss of you." Really? That's the best evangelical marketing tactic you could come up with? Usually this same church has things like "Do you know Jesus? If not, get ready to spend eternity in hell." or something really encouraging like "Jesus won't help you if you don't repent." Gag me. Maybe I've put way too much stock in the whole concept of grace but last I checked, God's love wasn't contingent on anything. But, hey, what do I know? What with my master's degree in Religion and all that.

A pumpkin for Halloween...

We're having a baby! As many of you know, after suffering a miscarriage it can be nerve-racking to get pregnant again and worry even more that something is going to go haywire! We've somehow managed to hold out on our big news for the last 12 weeks but with a second healthy ultrasound this afternoon, we (the "me" part of we) have decided it's time to break the news! We're thrilled, of course, still a little scared but excited to have another little munchkin to keep us on our toes. But seriously, I'm due on Halloween...kinda creepy if you ask me! :)
