Yesterday Bailey and I were having lunch together. As we were eating, Mark was unloading some stuff we bought at Costco.
Bailey (3.5): Mommy, we didn't have a Daddy so we buyed one.
Mommy: We did? Where did we buy him from?
Bailey: The Daddy Store.
Mommy: The Daddy Store? How much did he cost?
Bailey (thinking long and hard): YOU, Mommy. YOU had to pay $5 for him.
Mommy: Five dollars? Wow, we got a good deal.
Bailey (holding up 10 fingers): Yes, trains are this many. Because they're bigger. And stronger.
Daddy wasn't sure what to think about this. My question more revolves around the fact that he came up with all this out of his crazy imagination. I love this kid.

Hugs
This morning when I was getting ready to leave for work Bailey came over to give me a big hug and kiss. He said "have a good day, Mommy...I hope you get lots of hugs from your friends at work." Ah, thanks buddy!

You want the what?!
Yesterday after Bailey woke up from his nap I asked him what he wanted to watch. This is how it went:
Bailey (3 1/2): I want the damn show.
Mommy: You want the what?
Bailey: The DAMN one.
Mommy: ...
Bailey: You know, Mommy the damn movie.
Mommy (thinking Ama has some 'splainin' to do): ...
Bailey: The damn Thomas show, Mommy!
*Realization hits*
Mommy: Oh you want the Thomas show about the DAM?!
Bailey: YES, Mommy, the dam movie.
Mommy: The dam Thomas is in the van so we'll have to watch something else, okay?
Bailey: Okay, Mommy.
After last week's outburst of "When the police get here, yell 'POLICE!' and then hide...we always hide when the police come."...I'm starting to think we need to childproof the TV when Ama's in charge. :)

Bloggin' Slacker!
I have been so lazy lately and haven't been blogging because I've gotten in the habit of posting the kids' antics as my status on Facebook. This probably isn't the best way to document memories in the long term sense. I promise to be a better blogger.
The kids are getting so big and they are changing so much each day. Bailey just gets more hysterical as the days go by. I don't know where he gets his dramatic flair but boy, is he dramatic! :) The other day I handed him a yogurt that he had asked for and he grabbed it and hugged it and petted it and said "oh yogurt! I've missed you *so* much! I'm *so* happy to see you! You're the best yogurt EVER!" Really? Hmmm.

Homemade lasagna...from Costco!
We enjoyed Grandma's secret recipe lasagna (it's so good, they sell it at Costco) for dinner the other night...apparently Lewis enjoyed every little bit of it. Enjoy every little bit of this cuteness:

What do you think this is? A restaurant?
The other night when I got home from work, Bailey was sitting up at the table eating his dinner.
Bailey: Mommy! I need something to drink.
Mommy: What would you like to drink, Bailey?
Bailey: Ummm...I don't know, let me check my menu (pretends to turn pages while perusing the menu)...oh yes, I'd like lemonade, please.
Mommy: I'm sorry, sir. All we have on our menu to drink is milk, chocolate milk, apple juice or water.
Bailey: Oh, thank you, sir. I'd like some apple juice, please.
